### Signal chain

Four-cable method. The break is made by the NS-1X Send/Return loop: the direct path runs into the amp INPUT, and post-preamp processing returns to FX RETURN.

**Mosky Audio ISO-10** — isolated outputs, one switchable-voltage output, USB output.

The ISO-10 has 10 isolated DC outputs (7 × 9V/300mA, 1 × 9V/500mA, 2 × 9V/12V/18V adjustable/500mA) plus one 5V/1A USB output.

### MIDI

The RC-5 is the master, sending clock and start/stop. The hardware pair stays in sync without the Mac — the laptop is optional and the DAW is not part of the sync chain.

### USB

Two hubs in cascade, upstream into the Mac. The whole tree is fed through the Anker PD port.

The ENGL is connected with a USB Type-C → Type-B cable, the Type-C end going into the hub.

Every USB cable carries two ferrite rings, one at each end, including the Apple adapter cable.

## Mains power

**Furman SS6B** — 6 outlets, surge / EMI / RFI filtering. Feeds the Apple adapter, the ISO-10, the amp, and the Scarlett PSU.

The Apple adapter runs with its grounded extension cable, not the bare two-prong duckhead — so the USB tree is earthed.
